Windmill Hill 30kWh Battery & 7.8kW Solar Install

This client wanted a high-capacity system that would dramatically cut energy bills and give them the ability to expand their setup over time. We installed a 7.8kW solar array split across two flat roofs, using a ballast-mounted system with 8 × 510W panels and 8 × 465W panels to maximise generation on both roof sections. The solar system was paired with a 30kWh ZT-One battery system (2 × 15kWh units) and a 7kW hybrid inverter, all housed neatly within the client’s external garage. We also trenched from the garage back to the meter box, installing additional cabling to future-proof the property for the optional addition of an EPS backup system. The result: a powerful, scalable energy setup delivering an estimated £80,000 net lifetime saving and a projected payback period of 6 years 10 months.
